if you know me at all,you know i love surf music,old and new instrumentals,and the surf punks the most,hence the cover art.....but I digress,I love surf music,and did a lot of surfing in my teenage years in the space coast area ,near satellite beach and cocoa beach areas,1978-1983 or so,and in the Lee co. area where I resided,but only during hurricanes,as we live on the west coast of Florida,and the waves in the Gulf are nothing near the waves in the Atlantic....I have written and recorded surf instrumentals of my own,as well as California surf punk style songs...But Noisekillr has taken surf music to a whole new level here!...This is futurist surf music,for the end of the time of waves,and the destruction of all that is beautiful,all that is one with nature....I live on the nature coast of Florida now,Weeki Wachee,Land of Living Mermaids,but there is no surf here,sadly..... This music represents what I see as the future of surf music,to be played anthemically as the surf wars of the future ,rage on,and the competitors are bruised and bloodied ,but still paddling out for one more ride,maybe their last! luckily cyborgs and robots cant go into the salt water oceans,so we have no competition from machines,but interplanetary beings from many galaxies and eons and light years away,will have invaded our surf ,within the next 200 years,and the war will be with them,as we slash and bash ,and surf to death the alien invaders,clogging our waterways! If you like sci fi and you like surf music,this will be for you...if you like noise and experimental soundscapes,you will enjoy this....if you arent in either of those groups ,you still may find something in these 2 lengthy tracks to interest you....surf or die! surf til death! long live the surf!
