NINTH GRADE REPEATER-demo 2008

Ashey's singin' on this one ,in his highly identifiable style,while Jenny ,his girl ,is on drums, playing songs which lyrically focus on high school memories ,such as :"Peer Pressure" ,"Oxyclean" ,"Pride In Your School","Baby In The Toilet At The Prom" ,and more related subjects. BLOODPONIES - Mayflower

The first self-released Bloodponies tape ,on his own Gainmas Industries label ,recorded on Earth Day 2008 ,Dylan is in his wandering minsterel/traveling troubador mode ,throughout. The tales he spins ,set to his own acoustic guitar's magical tones ,will draw you in to his world."The Merry Gallows" ,one of my faves here ,is reminiscent of a young David Jones (a/k/a Bowie) ,with fey english accent ,and vivid imagery in the lyrics ,as with all the lyrics in these tunes.Great drinkin' music ,mellow and violent all at once!
