I dunno,I was thinking about underwater,deep sea life,like if we had to live there ,and the ocean was like a huge humming computer,that we were in,that we were a part of,that we were one with....it courses through us,as we course through it.... The Ocean Has Memory,the first cut,has a spooky underwater ,droney sound ,which is quite musical at times,and on the edge of harsh in brief moments,it most definitely has that "deepseacore" sound that I was striving for.....the next track,Deep Sea Batteries,is about the concern for renewable energy,being so deep in the ocean,and not able to surface ,and seek out more energy...and we must keep the Ocean fed with energy ,so it may weild it's mighty power over us,and the sound is cohesive with the first track,as in it has the underwater ,deepseacore sound again,towards the end gaining a bit more harshness,and you can hear,and feel, the energy pulsing ,like a submarine gone mad...and finally the title cut,Dark Oxygen,is about the fear of getting bad air into our deep sea enviornment,and the ways we could prevent that from ever happening....oxygen is lifeblood down here,there is no clean,clear air like on the earth,down here the air is manufactured,and you have to be sure the supply is never sabotaged by those who wish us gone,so that they may take over our deep sea world....this is the most harsh track here,and the shortest...a feeling of anxiety and a stuffiness grows in the air ,as you take a breath,and then another....you can feel the Dark Oxygen seeping into your brain and running through your veins...the other life in the deep sea is also affected by this plague of rogue oxygen ,being pumped in by an unseen enemy,will we survive? will this Dark Oxygen have lasting effects? we shall see as time goes on,and we continue our life in the deepest part of the ocean..................
