PORK - Strip

Texas trio of punk girls ,with garage punk undertones , pop sensibilities ,and a rockin' sound. This came out in 1994 after a pair of 7" singles (http://www.krecs.com/html/artists/artistpage.php?interest=135 ) ,then pretty much disappeared.Nice document of their songs. All 3 sing,and this was produced by Alejandro Escovedo. DEAD AND GONE/THE GAIA -Split 7"

Dead and Gone are a quartet from Alternative Tentacles label,and sound to be sorta like Helmet,maybe? On the other hand ,and side, The Gaia is an all-female ,japanese,hardcore band,that could put some non-girl bands to shame,including Dead and Gone.Great single,I liked it so much,I also got The Gaia's full length album!Awe-inspiring,to say the least.

THE TRASHWOMEN-lust

awesome 60's garage surf band sound from this trio of chicks.they are friends with other like minded bands,such as:the mummies,supercharger,the phantom surfers,and more.all original tunes,that sound like you've heard 'em before.cool sound effects on"dragula",my pick track on this 4 song 7 inch.the album they made after this,wasn't as authentic sounding as this,and only half as enjoyable!
