Another one of those xmas compilations you've all come to love and expect.Last year's comp was featured on the Olde Thyme Dricore Show on WCSB 89.3 out of Cleveland,Ohio, on Christmas morning! Hopefully this one will make it to the airwaves as well I had a whopping 4 people contribute 5 of these songs. Then i cheated and added one from my old pal Unicorn Hole's xmas album. 40 WATT GELATIN - The Neat As Shit Album

Food sent in a wealth of discs this week ,and I'll start here.First off ,this band rules! The singer sounds wasted,and the band strumbles along ,somewhat drunkenly,I can only imagine!Short punk sonnets,on a number of subjects ranging from , the"United Steaks Of America" ,to "Cops Are No Fun" , from ,"34 Pound Cyst" , to other equally far flung ideas involving gum,garbage,filth,boredom,religion,politics ,and much more. And the covers are also ,as always,a welcome expectation! Butthole Surfers (2x!) ,Angry Samoans , Devo ,and Nomeansno,
are all honored ,as only the 40 Watt boys can play them! Funny ,funny stuff. Tardcore punk,as you should know.Thanks mucho ,Mr. Food!!

MYOPIA-live at the draft house-the final show

I finally got a RCA Y-plug to upload this.All the sound was on one side,now in glorious fake stereo.Don't know where this show was mic'ed at,but sometimes the drums and vox are the loudest.Tony,Billy,Shane,and (as Pat Smear joining Nirvana)Ron Bohn.This was a historic event,if you were there,you are lucky to have witnessed Myopia live!As always very rare stuff,this is the only known copy.covers of Big Black,Angry Samoans,and almost The Fall(at which point the tape ran out,damn!),as well as that trademarked Myopia groove.Tony ,please fill us in with more info,I don't know the date,was there a flyer?

HIGH MUCK cassette magazine

This is from Joel's collection ,from about 1983 or so.Has a swell interview with the Slickee Boys and a song from them and,Plasticland,Beat Rodeo,1/2 Japanese(live),Angry Samoans,Richard Meltzer with an interview and a coupla poems,the Runaways in Disney World 1978,and Mrs. Fithian,what sounds to be an elderly lady taking the microphone.Really cool,we need more sound magazines like this!Inspirational in a d.i.y. way.

Terrorist rock of the highest order,these guys only performed in ski masks while brandishing weapons.Mad Asshole on bass and vocals,Big Black Cock on guitar,and Shaggy Dick on drums,this stuff was recorded in the twilight time,at Club Black Nerd.All improv ,1-2-3-go! style,and it works like a charm,last track is a bonus ,live at the Draft House at One Fell Swoop's last show,just 1-2-3-go and we started a band.Covers of Rik L Rik,Black Flag,GG Allin,Angry Samoans,Sonic Youth,Simpletones,Ramones.Think Drunks With Guns meets Flipper and they have a pot of tea and listen to the first 7 Black Sabbath albums,it's that good.More to come,sadly no live vids or audio,only got one gig,due to name,announced on FM radio by Naughty Nikki,as the band so nasty we can't say their name on the air.She showed up and we delayed the show cuz we wouldn't play till she left.She asked me,"when are you gonna play"? ,to which I replied,"with myself,tonite"!A kid in the audience stood in front of me as I sang and bassed and in between songs I asked him if he liked K-Rock.he said yes and I whipped out a seemingly real pistol and pointed it at his face,I swear the guy looked like he had a heart attack,all in good fun.I dressed in docs,ski mask,gold lame' briefs and that's all.Still have rehearsal tape of said gig,Cape Coral demos,and more,check this out and kill! G O D
