Available only as a hard copy cd,until now,the latest full-length (2015) from Satan Peabody,the one man in this one-man band,The Blood Red Oscars.This is really two albums in one,every other song is a hilarious original tune ,followed by a punk rock classic ,done in Blood Red Oscars stylee,natch!This has been played on the radio numerous times in Sarasota on the Lumpytunes program,check it out!Taking inspiration from,and recording within the same time frame,as the great Food Fortunata's "Sockeye",and his other fine tardcore musics,hell the band is even named after a type of fish ,too!  This is a split ,from opposite corners of the USA ,Newcomer ,from Washington state is Sideshow Bob a/k/a Damion Wolf ,with a lo-fi ,drug-fueled ,weirdness take on traditional tardcore,and from Florida ,Satan Peabody and his Blood Red Oscars ,back with more stupidity than usual,and kind of a tribute to Sockeye,Food ,and Wheelchair Full Of Old Men ,as they are all mentioned several times throughout (first few tracks are a little garbled,tape problems on the master,but the kinks work out quickly into the 3rd song! ,sorry!).This is from 2015.BRO also released a full length,just after this ,and appeared on a few xmas comps for 2015.Look for him on a split cassette (with Chainsaw Butchery), coming out on You're Not Normal Records ,from Sean Lambert in NY.Damion Wolf has a youtube channel ,and has done more Sideshow Bob Recordings,including some stuff with Food Fortunata,look for that soon!

The latest from ZATH,who are currently at work on their third Xmas release! This album was titled by a ZATH freak from Germany ,Morris Vollmann. Great cover versions of My Dog Popper,Rancid Vat ,and Lefty Frizell! Plus all the fun tardcore that ZATH always displays on each release.This is the first time that Food did not draw the art for the cover.I actually took pictures of this statue near where I live,because I always liked it ,and i just realized why ,when I was taking these photos.It resembles one of Food's artistic creations ,chiseled in stone!Food did the front cover work ,while I did the back side,in more ways than one!ha ha! Great tunes about the upcoming election ,and the candidates,as well as other topical ,and not so topical,subjects. W.G.O.D ,the greatest underground/pirate radio station ,to ever hit the airwaves (back in the 90's in the Ft. Myers,Florida scene!) ,is now available as a Godcast (podcast)! This episode is the midnite show from July 9th of 1994. G O D is joined by guest d.j. Jake handles the vocal duties on all but 2 tracks, Food Fortunata lends his instantly recognizable voice to ,"New Year's Eve" , while G O D sings on the devolved destruction of a Bowie song ,re-tooled here as ,"Shitty Starbucks". Mix Master Toilet Wig ,plundered all the music from various porno soundtracks ,for this celebration of the seasons ,and holidays ,and human interactions.Kinda techno/disco/dance mixed with tardcore! JERRY JEFF WALKER - Nolan Ryan (He's A Hero To Us All)

First off ,this is dedicated to my friend, Food Fortunata ,a walking encyclopedia of baseball knowledge.And seeing how spring training has begun ,I thought it a good time to pop this up on the blog.This single ,from 1990 ,on Tried and True Music ,is the story of one of the greatest baseball players in history. Jerry Jeff a/k/a JJ ,wrote "Mr. Bojangles" back in the 60's , Brooks and Dunn did a song about him ," The Ballad Of Jerry Jeff Walker" ,and JJ discovered Jimmy Buffet. We'll excuse all that stuff ,and just focus on this country-tinged song ,about Nolan Ryan. JJ's son,Django (pictured on the cover ,by his dad ,wonder if he named him after Django Rheinhardt? probably so!) , is now also a country music artist ,often opening for ,or joining his dad on stage. Hey ,batter,batter,batter.....SWIIIING!!!!!
