THE THANKSGIVING DAY XXX-TRA STUFFING MYSTERY BAND

Recorded,mixed,and mastered by G O D ,at W.G.O.D.studios,Thanksgiving day 1995.The band is listed ,thusly:Tom Turkey-guitars & breasts,Scralph-laughing and burping,Flip Step-vocals,crib DBS(the brother and sister team)vox,keyboards,guitars,yams, Doogles-laughing,guitar,legs,Kool Breeze-drums and smokes,Garlic Nuts-vocals,Pie Pie Face-keys,pumpkin pie.
A tryptophan trip thru 14 "songs",of turkey,stuffing,pie,and that overwhelming urge to sleep.Parts of this sound like a garage band tuning up,some parts of this resemble The Residents,Throbbing Gristle,Einsterzende Neubauten,and other industrial and electronic giants.Just thought I'd get this posted before the holiday,as I'll be cooking and eating,and putting up xmas stuff ,next Wednesday thru Saturday,so I'll be on a short break.I will try to post a few more things before then!Enjoy this,and ruin your family get-together on Thursday!Just play this tape at any gathering you may have!Guaranteed to seperate the men from the turkeys.

this is hard to find on the web!on rrrecords,home of experimental and noise bands.some of these guys were in die kreuzen,and other bands from that scene.this is a document of live recordings from,l.a.,wi.,ill.mt.,wa.,and tx.,spanning five years.kinda sounding like an american cousin of einsturzende neubauten,this is noise that most won't like.but it fits right in this blog,which is full of experimental weirdness.their influence can be heard in dozens of industrial bands,even today's noise mongers.do yourself a favor,and give this a spin!thanks,jamie hake!

THE 6TH STREET MUNTUS.....eat payola buttons!

i had to put this up to show another example of the muntus.funny thing,i was listening to side one of this the other day at work,pretty loudly,and there happened to be a crew of surveyors there.the grungiest and roughest looking of them(the woman),asked what kind of music it was.i said,"electronic".she said hmmph! i guess she never heard music before(like this anyway).me.joel,and vance take side 1,(tracks one thru six)which i have figured out to be" einsterzende neubauten meets throbbing gristle".very electronic,industrial,mechanical,machinery music.i use a few uncuts,especially to great effect with an 80's synth vibe mashed up with tony bennett,on"the bennett bop".very crazy and cool.side 2(tracks 7 thru 12) is me,joel,jason(i think a one-eyed boy i worked with)from track 8 onwards(he does vox,the only one's here, on track 11)and mike smith joins us on the final two tracks.this side is like "martin denny vs. the royal trux",i shit you not.recorded partially in an aviary(birds gone wild!)with more electronic underpinnings.there is guitar on some of this too,but mostly power electronics.if you don't listen to this,you are a fool.this could change the way you hear music,and your poor taste in music!please listen or something!bye!
