CHEAP LITTLE TART

This cdr ,by way of Noah Lyon a/k/a Doctor Ninja a/k/a Rocky Dentist , is a blueprint of the commandments of tardcore punk. This is one of the dumbest albums you are ever likely to hear ,right in the same alleyway as bands on Wheelchair,(Food is sampled several times ,and some of his hits are given remixes) and Sluggisha ,but with a twist. The music is almost entirely made up of samples ,from pop-culture songs ,and punk alike. The vocals are either Noah ruminating on some stupid or crude subject matter or another ,or sampled vocals ,with much weirdness interspersed throughout ,and crazy and funny samples between songs. GOD'S FAVORITE BAND - 666 Point System To Destroy The Egg - Best Of GFB

Yes ,before everyone starts inquiring , this is one of my favorite bands. Sounding as if they (they being: Ogre Snot Gurgle , Jesus Phreak , Fried Chickum and several guests) were raised on a strict diet of Sockeye and other Wheelchair bands ,booze and drugs ,and fried food ,this is a masterpiece! There are even a few tracks on here from their split with Sockeye! Totally tardcore ,with weird vocals strewn about ,and change-ups on the musical styles occur frequently. One of the best things you may ever get the chance to hear! Be glad you were born with ears , unless you were'nt. And it's music like this that makes me feel sorry for those born deaf. Man, I need more of this!!

THE DICK PANTHERS - Eternal Biological Conflict

My new pals , The Dick Panthers ,sent in some discs to post! I'll start here ,they all stick to the same basic sound,with enough interesting diversions in music and vocals ,to make you wanna hear it again and again! First off, most of the subject matter has to do with religion and /or masturbation,the music is well-recorded ,and obviously played by folks ,that are too talented to be playing tardcore , but this is great stuff,nonetheless! They had tracks on the ,"WC500" comp ,from Wheelchair , as well as the more recent ,"Fart Filet" compilation. Imagine ,if you will , Elvis, Jimi , James Brown , The Residents, Negativland (the last 2 they channel ,effortlessly ,on the last 2 tracks ,a skit ,and a noise/sampler number) ,any drunken country singer,and Jesus , if they started a band. These were both previously released ,seperately. "Frenchy Is Going Toupee" ,from Chopping block ,is best described in the words of Food ,"Acoustic songs about pants and important bodily functions. Very strange that it was recorded sober.Almost acceptable." For, "Gasso De Potasso" , by Piss Twister,he proclaims,thusly, "Crappy mess that almost approaches industrial at times,but is saved by it's own disinterest in itself.Ocassionally great." ,and, "Crappy mess that almost sounds good when you're drunk.My god,what a mess.Cute." And I don't think I need to add to those spot-on reviews !
