THE DICK PANTHERS - Eternal Biological Conflict

My new pals , The Dick Panthers ,sent in some discs to post! I'll start here ,they all stick to the same basic sound,with enough interesting diversions in music and vocals ,to make you wanna hear it again and again! First off, most of the subject matter has to do with religion and /or masturbation,the music is well-recorded ,and obviously played by folks ,that are too talented to be playing tardcore , but this is great stuff,nonetheless! They had tracks on the ,"WC500" comp ,from Wheelchair , as well as the more recent ,"Fart Filet" compilation. Imagine ,if you will , Elvis, Jimi , James Brown , The Residents, Negativland (the last 2 they channel ,effortlessly ,on the last 2 tracks ,a skit ,and a noise/sampler number) ,any drunken country singer,and Jesus , if they started a band. THE THANKSGIVING DAY XXX-TRA STUFFING MYSTERY BAND

Recorded,mixed,and mastered by G O D ,at W.G.O.D.studios,Thanksgiving day 1995.The band is listed ,thusly:Tom Turkey-guitars & breasts,Scralph-laughing and burping,Flip Step-vocals,crib DBS(the brother and sister team)vox,keyboards,guitars,yams, Doogles-laughing,guitar,legs,Kool Breeze-drums and smokes,Garlic Nuts-vocals,Pie Pie Face-keys,pumpkin pie.
A tryptophan trip thru 14 "songs",of turkey,stuffing,pie,and that overwhelming urge to sleep.Parts of this sound like a garage band tuning up,some parts of this resemble The Residents,Throbbing Gristle,Einsterzende Neubauten,and other industrial and electronic giants.Just thought I'd get this posted before the holiday,as I'll be cooking and eating,and putting up xmas stuff ,next Wednesday thru Saturday,so I'll be on a short break.I will try to post a few more things before then!Enjoy this,and ruin your family get-together on Thursday!Just play this tape at any gathering you may have!Guaranteed to seperate the men from the turkeys.

TACO THE WONDER DOG-covers the hits again

This band is like the Residents,in that no one knows their true identities.Musically they are more like Japanese noise-core meets Costes,or Zappa,Beefheart,and the aforementioned Residents,if they were in a hardcore band together.Some of the music here is really well played,maybe too much so,but most is pure ear noise.There's one track early on,that twinges your ears when you listen too closely.Weird sounds,from unknowns.Google them,lots of video,cartoons,art,couldn't find much music though.Most sites with Taco,have been closed down.I know one member of this band,who sent this to be posted,and would like to remain anonymous.This person is on my blogroll,with a blog of their own.That's all the info you get,on that matter.The zip is full of interesting artwork,and i seen a document that has Hemmeroy Rogers name on it.Luckily it does not sound like him.Anyway,really cool stuff ,from a really cool person,who was in this band .Any body wanna elaborate further on this? please refer to the comments box below ! thanks for sending this in,you know who you are!Much appreciated!!

Z.A.T.H.- Zamboni Adventure Through Hell

A third release pops out of the ass of the tardcore machine,nay,institution,known as Z.A.T.H.

This is some really weird french dudes,like trippin'or something.I kinda hear the Residents a bit,but it's more than that.Little blips and electronics,as well as guitars and vocals.Very avant-garde and experimental.A treat for your ears!Haven't seen this posted.From Leo.Recorded in 1982.Man,those guys look strange!
