Hey hey!  This is a split ,from opposite corners of the USA ,Newcomer ,from Washington state is Sideshow Bob a/k/a Damion Wolf ,with a lo-fi ,drug-fueled ,weirdness take on traditional tardcore,and from Florida ,Satan Peabody and his Blood Red Oscars ,back with more stupidity than usual,and kind of a tribute to Sockeye,Food ,and Wheelchair Full Of Old Men ,as they are all mentioned several times throughout (first few tracks are a little garbled,tape problems on the master,but the kinks work out quickly into the 3rd song! ,sorry!).This is from 2015.BRO also released a full length,just after this ,and appeared on a few xmas comps for 2015.Look for him on a split cassette (with Chainsaw Butchery), coming out on You're Not Normal Records ,from Sean Lambert in NY.Damion Wolf has a youtube channel ,and has done more Sideshow Bob Recordings,including some stuff with Food Fortunata,look for that soon!

A brand new split release from Seattle's Dead Ken Frilly and his one-man band Teenage Mustache ,and old-time tardcore king ,Satan Peabody and his one-man band ,The Blood Red Oscars! Teenage Mustache is funny ass stupid shit ,more tardcore than usual,with a cover of Black Sabbath. My pick hit here is ,"Vacationing On The Sun" ,but the whole thing is great! The Blood Red Oscars ,return to recording ,besides appearing on compilations for the last few years ,this is the first full-length (oh,yeah ,it's a split!) ,of new shit from Satan Peabody ,in years!!

ZATH's second Christmas album (last year's "Zither Away The Holidays" ,was a real hit!) ,leads off with a decidedly un-christmas song ,Lennonburger's ode to Ronald Reagan ,"Reagum"! GOD'S FAVORITE BAND - 666 Point System To Destroy The Egg - Best Of GFB

Yes ,before everyone starts inquiring , this is one of my favorite bands. Sounding as if they (they being: Ogre Snot Gurgle , Jesus Phreak , Fried Chickum and several guests) were raised on a strict diet of Sockeye and other Wheelchair bands ,booze and drugs ,and fried food ,this is a masterpiece! There are even a few tracks on here from their split with Sockeye! Totally tardcore ,with weird vocals strewn about ,and change-ups on the musical styles occur frequently. One of the best things you may ever get the chance to hear! Be glad you were born with ears , unless you were'nt. And it's music like this that makes me feel sorry for those born deaf. Man, I need more of this!!

FEEBLE AXIS

The music on this amazingly dumb tardcore punk release , by my amigo ,Food Fortunata , alternates from crazy keyboardy/drum machine stuff , to acoustic guitar ( on one track ,I think?) ,to standard guitar ,bass ,drums ,vocals thingy ,and back again! Most tunes are under 2 minutes in length,while a few strain to make a minute! The lyrics and vocals ,are totally funny , as always ,when Food is at the helm! Really stupid! Sample lyric from , "Egg Planned" , : "Do you like eggplant? , no,no,no, I like eggplant too!" , and from "Training Pants ," John put a bullet in my poop , John cleared his throat like Augustus Gloop". SOCKEYE - A Year In The Live

Compiled completely from live appearances,in the year 1989,mostly in Ohio,but I see a West Virginia gig listed ,as well.Sprinkled with interview segments(and live on radio songs!) from WCSB,with Mike Kole.There's a slew of songs here that Sockeye never officially recorded or released.There's a version of ,"Mushroom Gravy" ,here that sounds totally different than what eventually came out.A lot of bands are covered:MDC ,Fang,Scratch Acid,Butthole Surfers,CCR,Lynyrd Skynyrd,Ism,Flipper,GG Allin,Feederz,and Jimi Hendrix.A really cool document,of a really cool band.This was WC029,back in the good ole days.
