HOMOSTUPIDS - The Whole World Is Homostupids!

For those who have not yet heard this band from the Clevo scene, pull your coat to this! A kind of cross of ,psych/garage/space/lo-fi/shitgaze/noise/tardcore , melded into a new music!
Looks like some choice cuts from almost every release,and a recent live set blended into the mix!I did the art for the cover of this,and the poster is from "HorribleFest-2011" ,which was a few weeks ago,and also featured Bake McBride (Food ,Poopy ,Scoops,and others performing Sockeye,Boy In Love,and Toughskins songs) ,and Cauliflower Ass and Bob (Food,again!),and what looks to have been a great goddamn line-up of groups,and a fun time was had by all in attendance.But back to what I was talkin about before , Homostupids are fuckin great! AN INTERVIEW WITH FOOD FORTUNATA OF WHEELCHAIR RECORDS - 1/5/11 -WCSB,CLEVELAND -THE OLDE TYME DRICORE SHOW

Food is interviewed about Wheelchair and the 500th release.I was a guest on the show(talked about this here blog,yr. reading,now!) ,as well as the Mike from Sludgesicle Records,Stan Bowman of Reality Impaired Records in MO,and a few other insiders.A lot of music from the label is played,and a good time is had by all!Thanks to Food,The Olde Tyme Dricore Family Hour Show,WCSB,Orin Gubkin,and all who participated.It was fun!In 2 parts.Art by Food from Noah Lyon's Retard Riot minizine,Oct.2010 edition,where Food's art was alongside greats like Winston Smith and Mudboy.

SOCKEYE -Saint Retard

I didn't have enough time to announce,that this morning, about 1:30 A.M.,est,Food Fortunata was interviewed on WCSB radio ,a Cleveland,OH ,college station.I was able to join in the conversations,and plug this here blog,and talk about the WC 500 comp.(posted just below this!),and the guy from Sludgesicle Records was on the line ,too!As well as a few other insiders.I only stuck around for about an hour or so,I don't know what happened when I left,but it was on the Dri core show,and I'm hoping to get a copy of it ,so you all can hear it ,as well! Sockeye (and other Wheelchair Full Of Old Men artists) , had their music played,and discussed the label,and it's 500th release,and Sockeye ,at length.A good time was had by all,I was up for 21 hours by the time I dropped off the phoneline. Anyway,to celebrate this memorable occasion,I give you this,rejected tracks from two sessions,recorded for the Retards Hiss Past My Windows album.Some classic hits,albeit,re-done versions,and some tunes you may have not heard ,as of yet!There are covers of GKH, The Poops,and ZZ Top.Great stuff ,as per usual.
