some results from the CENTRAL FLORIDA ANTI-FEST ,APRIL 9TH,2016 at UNCLE LOU'S in ORLANDO,FLORIDA!!!!!

The noise/experimental affair was in celebration of Dylan Houser's birthday,which was a couple days before this show.As you can see,folks came from all around Florida ,and further ,to play at the cramped,dingy,extremely dimly-lit bar ,Uncle Lou's ,in Orlando ,a stronghold for bookings of noise shows ,and other musics. I could only stay for the first half of the show,and my videos reflect that timeline. I left as Su Sous was performing.

To start the festival,the star and center of attention,the birthday-boy,whooped out a short set of irregular spasmodic jerking thrash-bot spew,while a long-haired fella,whipped his locks to and fro

BACON GREASE was up next,with a piece
reminiscent of solo bedroom band experiments,from the days of yore





Then a fella with a cello wired into a pc screen weirdness from OLA LINDEFELT

next as it got darker in the club was my pal CRUSTGIRLS,who blasted some primal noise rock

A short clip of WREN TURCO ,jabbing 80's new-wave synth memories into my brain

A strange young man with a superior moustache,finely waxed,and a chapaeu with a working light bulb stickng out the top ,sharpening a knife on a knife sharpener,wired for sound!!! also scored some choice releases from this chap!I present PIG SHRAPNEL!!

VIRGIN FLOWER ,performed some one-man Ministry/industrial-noise rock,fuckn' awesome!

Followed by my buddy Tree ,performing as DURASTATIC!   my camera was charging so ,no footage,but check youtube,someone is sure to have recorded it!

Hal,my noisy friend,did his VASECTOMY PARTY  project ,here's a short clip ,as the club grew pitch black!

SHORTWAVE FREQUENCY was up next,as I was setting up for my most fierce,brutal,noisest set EVER!  NOISEKILLR TORE THE JOINT UP!!!!

There were also 3 videos made by an unlisted ,and unscheduled secret performer ,UNCUT , who made these 3 videos in his repetitive mantra style during the time the festival was going on!!

I did not get footage of Joel Switzer's band Vantage Planets or Rin Larping ,and then i hadda leave early for work in the A.M. ,as Su Sous was starting their set ,but here are some pictures from the fest!

Anyway ,it was fun ,and I wish I could get out and play more. I'd like to do some more Yobel Weenel with my boys ,and would someday like to do a gig with my band Sha Ma Mo (Dylan,Katter,& I) ,as we have never played out live. Also Dylan and I should do a set together sometime!
